Orphan Sponsorhip Project

Across the world, millions of orphans and poor students wake up without secure food, education, or a loving environment. Many of them live in places where poverty is deep, and Islamic education is very limited.

Through the Islamic Education and Cultural Center of Korea, you can help support orphans and students of knowledge abroad — in countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, parts of Africa, and Indonesia — where your support goes a very long way.

These are children and young students who need:
• A safe place to live
• Regular meals
• Proper clothing
• Access to school and Qur’an classes
• Love, care, and spiritual guidance
With your help, we can give them hope in this world and a path to success in the Hereafter.

What Your Support Provides

From basic needs to bright futures—we provide everything orphans need to thrive.

Education & Qur’an Support

You help provide:

  • School enrollment and basic education
  • Qur’an memorization and recitation classes
  • Islamic studies (ʿaqīdah, fiqh, sīrah, akhlāq)
  • Books, notebooks, uniforms, and stationery

For many children, this is the only chance to receive both school education and Islamic knowledge.

Food & Daily Living Support

Your donations help cover:

  • Daily meals and nutritious food for orphans and students
  • Food parcels for orphan families and student dormitories
  • Meat support through Qurbani/Udhiyah and regular distributions

A simple meal can be the difference between a child attending class or working on the streets to survive.

Shelter, Housing & Safe Environments

You can help provide:

  • Safe housing for orphans
  • Dormitory support for students of knowledge
  • Basic household items (bedding, mats, simple furniture)

A stable, safe place to live gives them the peace they need to focus on learning and worship.

Clothing & Winter Relief

In cold regions like Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, winters are long and harsh.

Your support can provide:

  • Warm clothing (coats, shoes, socks, scarves)
  • Winter blankets
  • Heating and coal for homes and dormitories

This keeps children warm, healthy, and able to study even in freezing temperatures.

Ramadan Iftar & Sahoor Support

Ramadan is a special time for orphans and students — but it can also be a time of hunger if there is no support.

Your donations can provide:

  • Iftar meals
  • Sahoor packages
  • Dates, drinks, and hot food for fasting children and students

You share the reward of their fasting and their prayers in the blessed month.

Zakat, Sadaqah & Sadaqah Jāriyah

You can support this program through:

  • Zakat – Many orphans and poor students fall under eligible categories; your zakat can be directed to the most needy among them.
  • Sadaqah – General charity for food, clothing, and daily needs.
  • Sadaqah Jāriyah – Ongoing charity through supporting Qur’an education, Islamic learning, and long-term care.

Every time a sponsored child reads Qur’an, prays, or teaches someone else, the reward continues to reach you.
