Raising Servants of The Qur’an

It is ensured that our students are raised as outstanding individuals who are committed to their religious and moral values. With the education they receive, they can devote their lives to serving the book of Allah.

Helping the students of the Qur’an to get education is also Sadaqah Jariyah.

What is Qurbani?

Qurbani is the slaughter of animals available for sacrifice with the intention of worshiping for the sake of Allah.
Quran (Al-Hajj, 37)

"Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you. Thus have We subjected them to you that you may glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and give good tidings to the doers of good."

The term Qurbani is derived from the Arabic word meaning “to get closer” and is performed as a worship that brings servants closer to Allah.

Wajib Qurbani

Quran (Al-Kawthar, 2)

So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]".

According to the Hijri Calendar, the 10th–13th days of Dhul Hijjah is Eid al-Adha (The Feast of Sacrifice). It is Wajib (compulsory) for every Muslim who possesses Nisab (minimum wealth requiring Zakat) according to the Hanafi school of thought.

The sacrificed animal must be selected according to Islamic rules. It must be slaughtered by mentioning the name of Allah without causing unnecessary harm.

How to Distribute Your Qurbani?

Qurbani meat should be divided into three parts: 1) One part for the family, 2) One part for friends and relatives, 3)One part for the poor.

One may also distribute more or even all of the meat to the poor.

Hadith (Ibn Majah, Adahi 3)

- "Humankind (son of Adam) did not do anything more pleasant than shedding blood in the sight of Allah on the day of sacrificing. That sacrifice will come with horns, hair and nails on the day of judgment. Before the blood of the sacrifice falls to the ground, it is immediately accepted by Allah."

Hadith

Make sure that your sacrifices are big because they are your mounts on the as-sirāt (bridge).”
