The Noble Qur’ān is a divine book that has been recited and acted upon by millions of Muslims for centuries. All Muslims cherish it wholeheartedly, and they recite its blessed verses in their salāh, presenting their servitude to their Creator in the same manner. There is no nobler means to revive Islamic unity and ensure Islamic solidarity.
Sūrah Fatir, verse 29, Allah Ta‘ālā says: “Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah regularly, perform salāh diligently, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, can hope for a commerce that will never fail.”
Rasūlullāh (sallallāhu alayhi wa sallam) stated the following in this regard: “The best ibadah of my ummah is reciting the Qur’ān al-Karīm.”
“When people gather in one of the houses of Allah (mosques), recite the Book of Allah, and study it together, angels surround them, tranquillity descends upon them, mercy covers them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him (angels).”
“Whoever listens to a verse of the Book of Allah will have multiple rewards written for him, and whoever recites a verse will have a light on the Day of Judgment.”
“Just as iron develops rust as it is affected by moisture, human hearts collect rust from sin.” When the companions asked, “O Prophet of Allah, what is the polish for the hearts?” He replied, “Frequent remembrance of death and recitation of the Qur’ān al-Karīm.”
